FAQs

  • For those that have not yet done so, please make sure you send us a screenshot of your flight details and charge the cost to DEI via the appropriate channels. If you have any questions, you may reach out to @Jafar Kalbouneh.

  • For those arriving / leaving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3, we will not be ordering a hotel transfer. Terminal 3 is connected to the hotel via a covered walkway. For those using Terminals 1 and 2, please expect the details of your car pick up by tomorrow 14 March.

  • All participants have been assigned a hotel room (including Manila-based colleagues) to ensure you will not have to deal with traffic delays and can join the sessions on time.

    Please expect an email directly from the hotel with your room confirmation.

  • There will be a group check-in set up for us in the Garden Rooms which will be ready to receive you from Tuesday, 10am, 19 March 2024. There will be some light refreshments and comfortable seating in case you need / want to wait, however there should be enough rooms ready for early arrivals. Upon registration, you will be given:

    • 1x participant badge

    • 1x goodie bag

    • 1x Conference shirt (to be worn on 21 March)

    We have taken note of those that have requested early / late check-outs but please confirm upon checking in to avoid disappointment.

  • All guests are entitled to parking passes. These may be requested directly from the hotel concierge after check-in.

  • We have chosen a halal-friendly menu for the day and have requested there to be no pork on offer. We have also timed the breaks to coincide with prayers. A prayer room is located next to the main conference area.

    As a number of participants are vegetarians and / or are observing Lent, we have chosen a number of delicious vegetarian and chicken dishes, and have avoided common allergens like shrimp.

  • Located at Executive II, please ensure that you use the mother’s room for its intended purpose. Please knock first before entering.

  • Located at Executive III, colleagues can stay here for quiet time. For those that may feel overwhelmed by the scale of the conference, they may opt to use this space to dial in and listen to broadcasted sessions (with earphones). Please do not take calls or conduct meetings in this room.

  • Located at Executive I, this space is intended or all types of prayers and meditation. However, please give priority to our Muslim colleagues who will need the space at specific times of day.

  • Games Night is an optional activity after the dinner on 20 March. There will be 2 inclusion-themed games.

    • Stay on in Diplomatic Hall after the meal to be one of he first to play test Pangea Proxima, a boardgame commissioned by Manulife. (Playtime: 60 min)

    • Proceed to Executive III to enjoy a locally developed game called Incluciety. (Playtime: 30 min)

  • Please stay on for the IWD Panel: Inspiring Inclusion on 21 March. 12.30-1.30pm.
